ADULT ANGER VIOLENCE TESTS

Adult anger-violence tests are identified by name and that name is a link to that test's website. All of these adult (men and women) anger-violence tests contain a Violence (Lethality) Scale, Truthfulness Scale, (to determine the client’s truthfulness when tested), an Alcohol Scale and a Drugs Scale. Other scales (measures) are included on a test-by test basis to complete the client’s (patient, offender) anger-violence profile.

DVI-Short Forms are computer scored on-site within 2˝ minutes of data (answers) entry. www.domestic-violence-tests.com

Domestic Violence Inventory Pre-Post (DVI Pre-Post): The DVI Pre-Post measures domestic violence offender counseling treatment effectiveness or outcome. The DVI Pre-Post has (6) scales (measures): 1. Truthfulness Scale, 2. Violence (Lethality) Scale, 3. Control Scale, 4. Alcohol Scale, 5. Drugs Scale and 6. Stress Coping Abilities Scale. Offender Assessment Index (OAI): Applications: The Offender Assessment Index (OAI) is designed for use with incarcerated (male and female) adults. Outreach Assessment (OA): Judges, probation officers, treatment staff and others make client assessment, screening and evaluation referrals to determine whether-or-not intervention, counseling or treatment are needed. And, when warranted, it enables problem severity to be matched with treatment intensity. Outreach Assessment is a self-report test written at a high 5th to low 6th grade reading level. It consists of 105 questions and a checklist of available services that clients may want to participate in. It takes 30 minutes to complete. Outreach Assessment contains 5 scales or measures: 1. Truthfulness Scale, 2. Violence Scale, 3. Alcohol Scale, 4. Drugs Scale and 5. Stress Management Scale. Outreach Assessment is a multiscale test that clarifies the client’s willingness to work collaboratively with staff. It clarifies substance (alcohol and other drugs) use or abuse, acting out (anger, temper, rage and violence), and impaired stress management. When present, these problems can be disruptive, and when left untreated they usually get worse. Yet, with prompt intervention, counseling or treatment these individuals can lead problem free and productive lives. For more information visit www.outreach-assessment.com.

Probation Referral Outcome (PRO): Courts and probation officers refer many probationers to counseling and treatment programs. In the past it was assumed that the probationer was rehabilitated, positively changed or cured because they completed their mandatory treatment. Recent research shows this assumption is often wrong. Some probationers do not change. The Probation Referral Outcome (PRO) is a counseling or treatment outcome effectiveness test. It assesses treatment change. PRO is administered twice: before treatment (pretest) and after treatment (posttest). The pretest becomes the baseline for posttest comparison. Upon posttest a Comparison Report is generated. The PRO has eight (8) scales (measures): 1. Truthfulness Scale, 2. Violence Scale, 3. Alcohol Scale, 4. Drugs Scale, 5. Depression Scale, 6. Anxiety Scale, 7. Self-Esteem Scale and 8.
